Greenfield Urges 9/11 Volunteers to Apply for Compensation Before Deadline
Councilman David G. Greenfield is urging all 9/11 first responders and survivors, including local Hatzolah and Shomrim volunteer members, to register for the Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) before the rapidly approaching deadline on October 3rd.

About 36,000 people who are either sick or injured from the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks have registered with the compensation fund so far. Others must register by this month’s deadline in order to be compensated.
