We wanted to let you know about two Free Legal Clinics to Assist Individuals in Filing a VCF Claim being offered in collaboration with the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund that are being held on Thursday, March 27th in New York City and on Friday, April 4th, 2014 in Nassau County.

City Bar Justice Center Offers Free Legal Clinics to Assist Individuals in Filing a Claim
City Bar Justice Center
The New York City Bar Justice Center is offering free legal clinics for individuals needing assistance in filing claims under the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF). Clinics will be facilitated by volunteer lawyers who will provide free counsel and advice to people who would like to file a claim under the VCF without an attorney. Those attending will be able to meet with an attorney who will provide information on the eligibility process and will assist in filling out the application form.

NY Metropolitan Area Law Schools Offer Free Clinics to Assist Individuals in Filing a Claim
New York Metropolitan Area Law Schools are offering free clinics for individuals needing assistance in filing claims under the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF). Clinics will be facilitated by volunteer law students who will provide free assistance to people who would like to file a claim under the VCF without an attorney. Those attending will be able to meet with a law student who will provide information on the eligibility process and will assist in filling out the application form. Clinics are by appointment only.
