Join us, October 18th When We Honor Senators Schumer & Gillibrand, Reps. Maloney, Nadler & King

Help us help 9/11 heroes & survivors.

Even with last year’s renewal of federal 9/11 health care and compensation programs, there’s still much that needs to be done to make sure our government delivers on its long term commitment to the health and well-being of 9/11 first responders, survivors, and their families.

9/11 heroes and survivors shouldn’t have to fight for the care they deserve.

That’s why we created 9/11 Health Watch — to work on behalf of these responders and survivors to make sure the government keeps its promises to everyone harmed by the 9/11 attacks. We monitor 9/11 health care and compensation programs to address any lapses in the delivery of services and, if necessary, advocate for changes to make sure everyone who’s injured or sick because of 9/11 gets the help they deserve.

To help keep 9/11 Health Watch going, we’re having a benefit to honor the sponsors of the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act: Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand and Representatives Carolyn Maloney, Jerrold Nadler, and Peter King.

Please join us on October 18th to show your support for 9/11 aid programs — and the elected officials who made them a reality.

Already, 9/11 Health Watch has helped fix problems with the reopened September 11th Victim Compensation Fund and we are continuing to make sure it and the World Trade Center Health Program provide care for injured and ill 9/11 responders and survivors, as the law intended.

9/11 Health Watch was created — along with its advocacy sister organization, Citizens for the Extension of the James Zadroga Act — by unions and groups that fought hard to get the Zadroga law passed.
