New York, NY – Just days before the 12th Anniversary of the horrific attacks of 9/11, Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (NY-12), Congressman Jerry Nadler (NY-10), 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund Special Master Sheila Birnbaum, union leaders and 9/11 first responders will hold a press conference on Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, 11 a.m., at Silverstein Family Park, in front of 7 World Trade Center, near the PATH train, to remind the brave 9/11 first responders and survivors of the Oct. 3, 2013 deadline for most to register for compensation through the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act.
