I wanted to share with you 911 Health Watch’s Press Release today, making clear that the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund is open during the Federal Government Shutdown.

September 11th Victim Compensation Fund is Open during Government Shutdown
911 Health Watch wants to make sure that all injured and ill, 9/11 Responders and Survivors who have not yet registered with the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund know that the Fund is not subject to the Federal Government Shut down and is open, accepting registrations.
The VCF Helpline is open at 1-855-885-1555, and registrations can be taken on the Fund’s website at http://www.vcf.gov/
If you are considering filing a claim with the Fund and you knew or had reason to know of your physical harm or illness resulting from the 9/11 attacks before October 3, 2011, you must register by this Thursday, October 3, 2013.
